Other Italians make other variation of this recipe by adding some topping like vegetable or beans but the most popular recipes is made of basil, fresh tomato, garlic and onion or mozzarella.
Bruschetta Italian recipe Ingredients:
- 1 can Del Monte Italian Recipe Stewed Tomatoes (Optional brand)
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 tablespoo. chopped of fresh basil or 1 teaspoon of. dried basil
- 1/2 loaf of baguette bread and it in sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon of. olive oil
Bruschetta Italian cooking process:
- Drain the fresh tomatoes, reserving liquid.
- In a small saucepan, boil reserved liquid with garlic 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove it from heat.
- Chop tomatoes; combine with garlic mixture and basil.
- Brush bread slices with olive oil. Broil until golden.
- Top with tomato mixture; serve immediately.
